Mark Dever and Paul Alexander have been used of the Lord in writing The Deliberate Church to the modern-day Church. Young, inexperienced pastors and seasoned veterans alike will benefit from a careful study of this book.

The thing that I appreciated the most was the practical outworkings of ministry. So many times, I read books that speak of the "what" and "why." This book tackles the tougher question of "How?" By going back to the Word of God, the principles and applications that are addressed will cut across all cultural barriers.

Praise God for such a wonderful, insightful book. I would HIGHLY recommend pastors reading this book...more than once!
