The birth of Jonathan!

Jonathan David was born on Friday, December 29 at 2:13 PM. He weighed in at 9 pounds 5 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. A big boy, eh??

Sarah did a wonderful job through the pregnancy and delivery. God displayed His grace in a relatively quick delivery.

Here are some pictures for you to enjoy. I will try and do a better job of updating this blog with pictures of our family!

We would love to hear from you so reply with your comments!

Congratulations! I'm not sure what I enjoyed most about the pictures ~ how sweet Jonathan is or the beaming smiles on everyone's faces.

PS I also enjoyed looking around your blog. There are a couple of books that will be a good way to start the new year.

Alan and Renee - great to hear from you guys!

Julie - Sarah's doctor was a little hesitant about inducing early. But when Sarah delivered, her doctor said, "God was in this! He would have been 10 pounds at full-term!"

Kelly - I am sure that Sarah will have many conversations with you regarding raising boys.

Debbie - Jonathan certainly has brought a smile to our faces. Faith is so proud of her baby "brofer." (She doesn't quite have the "th" sound down yet).
